Cancelation & Reservation Policy:
A 25% non-refundable deposit is due with booking, boat and time not firm until deposit is made. Balance of charter price will be processed in the afternoon of the day before the charter. If guests do not show or they cancel after final payment is processed (the afternoon of the day before the charter), there can be no refund, as the boat & crew prep will have begun, and we cannot fill the space with another customer, so the guest will be charged the full charter price. All cancelations need to be made in writing to info@caymanprivatecharters.com and we will reply with a confirmation. If the guests wish to pay cash, that is OK, and we will refund the credit card after the charter accordingly.
Credit Card Policy Agreement:
By providing your credit card you have accepted the credit card charges as per our agreement and with our cancellation/weather policies.
Weather Policy:
Charters will be canceled or postponed, at no cost to guest, if the captain deems it unsafe or very bad weather including regular lightning and heavy wind/rain. Light or isolated showers do not constitute canceling a charter. Some days the wind speed and direction will not make all stops possible, the captain will find alternate stops for the guests to enjoy, this includes the stingray sandbar, if conditions are not favorable for this stop, Rum Point is the next best option and the captain will take the guests there.
If captain deems it OK to leave at the start of the charter, and rain rolls in, we can not offer a refund as Caribbean weather is very unpredictable. If the guests wish to return early and there is no lightning, we can not offer a refund as it was out of our control.
Alcohol Policy:
Paradise Explorer has a full liquor license, and cash bar. If the guests want to bring their own alcohol that is fine and there is no surcharge for that.
We will provide the cups, ice, basic mixers like sodas and water. All of our other boats the guests again are welcome to bring their own alcohol and we will provide the same basics mixers and ice.
If the guests wish to have us pick up any special request from the liquor store we can do that as well, email or call us with your desired brands and we will do our best to fulfill, when our crew is at the store and an exact match is not found, maybe a hard to find wine, we will get advice from the store staff on a close match in taste and price, unless we have specific instructions to only get a special brand.
We prefer that any alcohol is consumed after snorkeling or water activities. The captain reserves the right to not permit any guest to do any water activities if the are too much under the influence of alcohol. The captain also has the right to cease the consumption of alcohol if any guest becomes too much under it's influence. All of which is done for the guests and crew safety.
